INFORMATION
There are 9
local public schools serving Flagler County. Bunnell, Wadsworth,
Old Kings, Indian Trails, and Rymfire Elementary Schools;
Buddy Taylor and Indian Trails
Middle Schools and
Flagler Palm Coast High School plus the new Matanzas High
School.
Seventy-five percent
of high school graduates go on to further their education,
ranking Flagler County first in the state. Graduating seniors
scored an average of 503
on the verbal and 510 on
the math portion of the SAT test for 2004.
The combined average SAT score was 1,013.
Many colleges and
universities are within easy commuting distance to Palm Coast.
These include the Universities of Florida, North Florida and
Central Florida, Florida Technological, Stetson, Jacksonville
and Embry-Riddle Aeronautical Universities and Flagler and
Bethune Cookman Colleges.
Daytona Beach
Community College operates a full-time undergraduate campus in
Palm Coast.
